1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CSV Bank Converter (“the Service”), operated by BillerBear (“we,” “our,” or “us”), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CSV Bank Converter is a product of BillerBear that provides a web-based tool to convert bank statement PDF files into CSV format. The Service allows you to upload bank statement PDFs, preview extracted transaction data, and download converted CSV files after payment. The Service is accessible through our website and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

  • Only upload documents you have the legal right to process
  • Not upload documents containing malware or malicious code
  • Not attempt to circumvent any security measures
  • Not use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Provide accurate information when required
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

4. Pricing and Payments

4.1 Pricing

CSV Bank Converter offers the following payment options:

  • Per-File Conversion: $2.99 per bank statement PDF converted to CSV (one-time payment)
  • 5-File Pack: $9.99 for 5 conversions, credits never expire (one-time payment)
  • 24-Hour Day Pass: $24.99 for unlimited conversions within a 24-hour period (one-time payment)

Neither option involves recurring charges or automatic renewals. Prices are subject to change with notice posted on the Service.

4.2 Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By making a purchase, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy

5.1 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases. Although we provide a free preview of extracted data before purchase so you can verify the quality of the conversion, if you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase by contacting us at support@csvbankconverter.com. Refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

5.2 5-File Pack

5-File Pack purchases are non-recurring. Credits never expire and are non-transferable. The same 30-day money-back guarantee applies.

5.3 Day Pass

Day Pass purchases are non-recurring and expire after 24 hours. Refunds for Day Passes may be considered if you were unable to use the service due to a technical issue on our end.

5.4 What's Not Covered

Refunds are generally not provided for:

  • Requests made more than 30 days after purchase
  • Conversions where the free preview accurately represented the output
  • Unsupported bank statement formats (we recommend using the free preview first)
  • User error, including uploading incorrect files

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by CSV Bank Converter and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

You retain ownership of all documents you upload. We claim no intellectual property rights over your uploaded files or converted data.

7. Data Handling and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Your uploaded files and extracted data are:

  • Automatically deleted within 24 hours
  • Never shared with third parties
  • Processed on secure servers using encrypted connections
  • Never used for training AI models or analytics

8. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for high accuracy in data extraction, you are responsible for verifying the converted data before using it for accounting, tax, or other purposes. We recommend reviewing the extracted transactions against your original statement.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

  • 100% accuracy of extracted data
  • Compatibility with all bank statement formats
  • Uninterrupted availability of the Service

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CSV Bank Converter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
